tonight at work, this little kid came in who had to have the most energy I’ve ever encountered in a child. he was literally bouncing around while he spoke to me and I was running around the store with him and having a ball. after I checked him out, I went to give him a high-five and instead he wrapped his arms around my waist and gave me a hug, and then gestured for me to bend down and gave me a kiss. 

my heart melted. moments like that make me love my job more than I already do.
